Fırat is a multidisciplinary filmmaker who continues to create in directing, writing, and producing across various storytelling mediums, including fiction, documentary, and hybrid forms.

 

Born in 1995 in Istanbul, his passion for cinema led him to leave his three-year medical education to study cinema at Kadir Has University and turned this passion into a professional career. He is currently pursuing her master's degree at Bilgi University.
 

Kavur, his debut feature premiered at IFFR 2023.

Kavur was highly acclaimed by both audiences and critics, becoming the most awarded film of 2023 in Turkey.
